of all the points? Join Cecelia for an exciting day creating perfect points
using your paper-piecing skills on a 20 inch Feathered Star quilt block. You
can make one block, four blocks, or more! If you would like to piece the
7-1/2" center, several patterns will be available to choose from, or create
your own middle block before class. Let's have fun with this classic!

Appalachian Promise Stitch
If you have always wanted to learn to hand quilt but have been intimidated
by those perfect little stitches then Appalachian Promise Stitch is for you.
Promise Stitch originated in the Appalachian Mountains and is a dying art.
In this class you will learn all the steps it will take to make most of the
Promise Stitch patterns in this sweet and simple wall hanging. This will be
a 2-Saturday class with the 2nd date to be scheduled before you leave class
on May 24th.

Class Registration & Policies
Full payment for class fee is due at time of registration.
A minimum of 3-4 people is required to hold a class. Back Porch Quilts
reserves the right to cancel or postpone the class due to lack of
enrollment. A full refund or store credit will be made if cancelled.
Class registration is a commitment to the teacher. For that reason class
fees are not refundable if you do not attend & the class is not cancelled.
Cancellations by students require a 5 day notice.
Class registration allows only one person to attend. Please, no children
or visitors in class.
Please turn your cell phone off during class.
Class supply lists should be picked up at the time you register. Books &
patterns must be purchased to avoid copyright infringement.
Classes begin at the scheduled time, so please be ready to start at the
posted time.
What is needed for class…
Sewing Supplies: needles, thread, seam ripper, thimbles, scissors for fabric & paper, extra full bobbins.
Sewing Machine in good working order, with all applicable feet & accessories plus your manual. You must know how to operate your machine.
Quilt Supplies: rotary cutter, mat & ruler
Miscellaneous Supplies: Notebook, pencil, etc.
Your excitement & enthusiasm!
Please have all pre-class cutting & sewing done before coming to class.
